Mirapakay (translated as Chili) is an Indian Telugu-language comedy film that Harish Shankar directed in 2011. It was produced by Ramesh Puppala, under the Yellow Flowers banner. Starring Ravi Teja and Richa Gangopadhyay with music by S. Thaman. The film was released 12 January 2011.

The film is a success at the box office, with a 50-day theatrical run in 113 centres. It has been translated into Hindi as Khallas, and Tamil as Murattu Singam.

Story of movie Mirapakay

Rishi (Ravi Teja), is an inspector at the Intelligence Bureau. His colleagues affectionately call him “Mirapakaay”. Murthy (Nagababu), chief of IB, learns that Kittu (Prakash Raj), a mafia don, is trying to spread his tentacles throughout India and is aiming at Delhi first. 

ACP Srinivas (Sanjay) is shot to death by Shankar (Kota Srinivasa Rao), who is a local goon with the assistance of his son Linga. Murthy sends Rishi on an undercover mission to Hyderabad, where he gets him accepted as a Hindi lecturer at a college. Rishi meets Vinamra, (Richa Gangopadhyay), at a temple. They fall in love instantly.

She also studies at the same college as Rishi and is a part of the same class that Rishi teaches Hindi. Their love blossoms. This is when Vaishali (Deeksha Sext), Kittu’s daughter, enrolls at the same college. Murthy seizes the chance to ask Rishi for information about Kittu by flirting and making Vaishali fall in love with him. After killing Shankar, Linga and making Vaishali love him, Rishi reaches Kittu. Kittu is finally arrested along with his gang. 

The film ends with Rishi convincing Vinamra that he should marry him.
